Dr Levy FRCP graduated in South Africa in 1985. He undertook his postgraduate specialty training in North London and completed his training in 1995. He was appointed to the position of Consultant Physician with a special interest in the Elderly at Barnet and Chase Farm NHS Trust since when he has been Clinical Director for five years and is now Head of Department. Dr Levy runs a general medical ward, runs an outpatient clinic and participates in the all age unselected acute medical take at Barnet General Hospital. Since 2012, he is one of 3 physicians who form the Medical Liaison Team at RNOH in Stanmore providing daily pre/post operative assessment for orthopaedic patients seeing a broad range of medical problems. Dr Levy is Educational Supervisor to a number of post graduate trainees and enjoys teaching undergraduates as well.
