RNOH Patient Outcome Data

Are you a patient looking for help with using RNOH POD? If so please go to: Patient Outcome Data (POD) information for patients.

The NHS commissioning landscape is changing and there has been a shift in focus towards Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs), especially in Orthopaedics.

As healthcare continues to prioritise quality and outcomes, clinicians are under increasing pressure to demonstrate the effectiveness of treatments.

In response, the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) supports the collection of patient-level outcome data using MyCare, a secure patient portal that allows patients to manage their hospital care online. This allows patients to keep all their information in one place, reduce reliance on paper letters, and stay more engaged in their care.

PROMs provide valuable insight into the quality of care from the patient’s perspective. They are simple questionnaires completed at key stages of the patient journey—from the initial outpatient appointment through to discharge and beyond. By comparing responses over time, clinicians can assess the health gains achieved following treatment.

Completing Your Questionnaires (PROMs)

Patients can complete their PROMs digitally in a way that is convenient and accessible:

-->Via the MyCare patient portal or mobile app

-->Through a secure link in an email sent from noreply@uclh.nhs.uk

From any location with internet access.

This digital approach improves accessibility and reduces the risks associated with paper-based questionnaires.
