Anna Panagiotidou qualified from University College London Medical School in 2006 and completed her specialist orthopaedic training on the UCLH rotation in London. She undertook a period of formal research and after successfully defending her doctoral thesis she was awarded a PhD in Orthopaedic Surgery by the University College London in 2018.

She was appointed at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital as a Consultant Surgeon in Peripheral Nerve Injury in February 2022 following her two year fellowship with the unit.
