We heard from Professor Anne-Maree Keenan OBE from University of Leeds/NIHR Leeds Biomedical Research Centre about research career opportunities from the NIHR and we had an incredible talk from Dr Lauren McAllister, Senior Lecturer in Psychology, University of Northampton about the importance of giving a voice to patients with learning disabilities.
