It may have been raining outside by it was all laughter and smiles yesterday as members of the RNOH team who won the ISUG (Inter Spinal Unit Games) 2025 came to SCIC and the Aspire centre to celebrate their win and receive medals.
The medal-winning team talked about what great fun they had at the event, held last year at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. Their victory came on the back of their top placing in 2024! So, can they make it a triple-whammy this year? We'll find out later this year when the games are held once more.
After the medal presentation, there was a chance to train and play a game of basketball in the Aspire sports hall, courtesy of London Titans Wheelchair Basketball Club who shared tips and pointers on how to compete at their top level. Our thanks to them for a great time!
