A massive well done and heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in the wonderful Nurses’ Day celebrations at RNOH yesterday.
This special day is our opportunity to recognise and celebrate the dedication, skill, and compassion of our incredible nursing colleagues.
Our Chief Nurse, Prof. Louise Morton, welcomed everyone and spoke of the special place and impact nursing has to the lives of millions. The Stanmore Building atrium was alive with energy as nurses enjoyed reiki treatments, 60 fab raffle prizes (generously donated by colleagues across the Trust), music, food and drinks (from ISS) and lots more. The atmosphere was fantastic!
A huge thank you to RNOH Charity, our fantastic volunteers, ISS, and everyone at RNOH who played a part in making this event such a success. Thanks also to Nicky Saunders, Business Support Manager in Theatres, who kindly made and donated the brilliant bunting.
Our nursing leaders visited wards and departments across Stanmore and at Bolsover Street with cakes (donated by RNOH Charity) to ensure all colleagues were part of the celebrations. Eleven of our preceptees were also presented with their certificates as part of the celebrations.
