We are delighted to announce Matt Custance is joining the RNOH Board as an Associate Non-Executive Director this month.

Matt’s career includes leading major NHS programmes, including new hospital projects, mergers and major contracts. His deep understanding of public sector operations and financial sustainability has made him a trusted adviser across both NHS and private sector organisations.

As founder and partner at Burrum River Advisory, Matt currently leads high-impact initiatives including the development of an ICS-wide shared services model for a mental health foundation trust, resolving PFI challenges, and delivering a new pathology hub for a major network. Previously, Matt served as Head of Public Sector Healthcare at Grant Thornton, London.

Doris Olulode, RNOH Chair, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Matt to our Trust Board. His depth of experience and strategic insight will be invaluable as we continue to evolve our services and infrastructure, particularly around site development opportunities. With a strong track record of innovation and sustainable success, we’re excited to work with him.”
