We are delighted to announce that Helen Jameson will be joining RNOH in January 2026 as our new Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and Deputy CEO, replacing Caroline Owusu-Bennoah.

Helen Jameson.pngHelen brings over 20 years of NHS experience, having held senior finance and operational roles across a range of organisations. She joins us from South West London Integrated Care Board, where she has served as CFO since July 2022. Prior to that, Helen was CFO at Great Ormond Street Hospital, leading finance, procurement, and commercial functions, and acting as executive lead for the North Thames Genomic Laboratory Hub. She has also held regional and system-level roles focused on transformation, education, and workforce development, including at NHS London and UCL Partners.

Professor Paul Fish, Chief Executive, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Helen to RNOH. Her breadth of experience and strategic leadership across the NHS will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our financial resilience and support our clinical priorities. At the same time, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Caroline Owusu-Bennoah for her outstanding contribution and dedication over the years."

Helen commented: “I’m absolutely delighted to be joining RNOH. Finance plays a vital role in enabling high-quality care, and I look forward to working with colleagues to ensure our resources are aligned with the Trust’s ambitions and values.”

Caroline will be leaving us at the end of September to join Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. Jenny Coussons, Deputy Director of Finance, will act up as CFO in the interim until Helen joins us shortly after Christmas.

We look forward to welcoming Helen in the new year and beginning this exciting next chapter for RNOH.
