December strike action by resident doctors

Resident doctors at RNOH — previously known as junior doctors — are due to take part in a strike from 7am on Wednesday 17 December until 7am on Monday 22 December.

This industrial action may impact some services at Stanmore at Bolsover Street locations. We will try to ensure we minimise disruption.

If you have an outpatient appointment or a procedure with us, you will be contacted directly if this needs to be rescheduled. 

Please attend as normal if you don’t hear from us.

Where appropriate, please use other non-hospital services for advice and treatment during this period of industrial action, such as:

• NHS 111: www.111.nhs.uk or call 111
• GP practices (they will continue to be open during the strike)
• Walk-in centres 
• Pharmacies
