RNOH's Bone and Soft Tissue Tumour Service has produced three new patient information videos.
One provides an overview of the service:
The other two videos explain the patient pathways for adult and children and young peaple.
We'd like to thank everyone who helped to make the video.
Our service is an important part of the London Sarcoma Service which provides multidisciplinary care including radiotherapy and chemotherapy for patients with bone and soft tissue sarcomas.
Our team are leaders in the diagnosis and treatment of bone and soft tissue tumours, including limb-sparing surgery for cancer. We offer reconstructions including endoprosthetic reconstruction, biological reconstruction, and bone grafting. The clinical team includes expert clinical nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
The services offered at RNOH include:
- - Specialist surgery for pelvic, spinal and extremity bone and soft tissue tumours, including complex limb reconstruction and amputation
- - Specialist diagnostic pathology and radiology services
- - Rehabilitation including physiotherapy and occupational therapy.

The London Sarcoma Service is part of the London and South East Sarcoma Network.

The RNOH is an NHS highly specialised commissioned centre for the diagnosis and treatment of patients of all ages with confirmed or suspected bone or soft tissue tumours, including sarcomas. These include benign and malignant tumours including bone and soft tissue sarcomas and metastatic bone disease.
