Earlier this week, many of our dedicated volunteers came together to mark the 10th anniversarey of the RNOH buggy service.

The celebrations also provided an opportunity to recognise another remarkable achievement. Last month, the buggy service carried its 200,000th passenger. From a service that transported approximately 200 passengers in its first month, it now supports an average of 2,000 passengers every month, demonstrating its tremendous value to patients and visitors across the hospital.

This success would not have been possible without the commitment and dedication of our volunteer team, who provide a friendly, reliable, and compassionate service every day.

A special thank you goes to Keith Reeve, who leads the buggy service and is always on hand to provide guidance, support, and solutions whenever needed. His leadership and commitment have played a significant role in the service’s continued success over the past decade.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this fantastic achievement, and thank you for making such a positive difference to the hospital community. And special thanks Anca from ISS for arranging the refreshments.
