RNOH in top 10 most trusted hospitals
The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) has been rated one of the top 10 most trusted hospitals according to the latest NHS staff survey.
89 per cent of staff would recommend the treatment available at the hospital to their friends and family.
Lynn Hill, Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Chief Executive, said this was a tremendous accolade for the hospital, which is currently awaiting the go-ahead on a major redevelopment of the site.
“The findings from the annual survey of NHS staff are extremely encouraging and testament to the high quality care provided by our dedicated staff. We are delighted that such a large proportion of our staff would recommend us to family and friends. To come 9th out of 161 hospital Trusts is a sign of how staff feel about working at the hospital and the high level of service we offer. We are not for a moment complacent, and will continue to look at ways we can improve what we do for patients even further.”
The Government is keen to publish more internal data about the performance of the NHS and individual hospitals, with patients and GPs encouraged to seek treatment at top performing hospitals. The Prime Minister has previously said that the family and friends test provides one of the most accurate indicators on the quality of hospital care.
