RNOH supports Harrow LINk
The Trust is working with Harrow LINk to support its aim of having a voice in the planning, commissioning and delivery of health and social care services to improve the health and well-being of patients, carers, public and service users.
Local Involvement Networks (LINks) replaced the Patient and Public Involvement Forums in early 2008.
The role of a LINk is to:
- Listen to and voice the concerns of local people in relation to health and social care services
- Improve services through working with voluntary and community representatives, individuals, and service providers
- Inspect local health and social care services based on evidence received
The LINk is made up of volunteers and representatives of service users, provided by services including the RNOH, NHS Harrow, the Central North West London Hospital Trust, Harrow Council, and the London Ambulance Service.
The Harrow LINk Executive Committee is holding a public meeting on 17 May 2010 from 10 am to 12 Noon in meeting rooms 2 and 3, Harrow Healthy Living Centre, Wealdstone Centre, Harrow. There will be an opportunity to ask the Executive Committee questions and make suggestions for their work plan. Everyone is welcome.
