RNOH - another NHS first in the use of O-Arm scanner
The RNOH is the first NHS hospital to use an innovative scanner which gives surgeons the ability to carry out complex spinal operations more efficiently and safely. With the O-Arm scanner, surgeons are now able to manipulate images created by the scan so that they can view a variety of different 3D and 2D angles of the patient’s anatomy, including detailed images of the spine and bone structure. It also allows for much higher resolution and quality images than existing intra-operative imaging.
