The building works to create paths and tunnels between the new inpatient ward block and parts of the existing hospital will start on Thursday 14 June. The work will be in 3 phases with the first phase around the tarmac footpath between the Outpatient link and car park. We are starting with a small section to allow us to monitor the impact on the hospital early on, and can then judge any issues that might occur later.
Parking in the Outpatient car park will be restricted, with a wheelchair shuttle service running between the Outpatients and the Visitors car parks from Monday 18 June. The Visitors car park attendant will be available all day.
