The 2017 Buttercup Walk took place to raise money for The RNOH Charity. The event was attended by both patients and staff with stalls and rides for all to enjoy. Master of Ceremonies for the event was Mr Aresh Nejad, Medical Director and Mary Tye, a patient of the RNOH opened the Walk.
Mary, who is 96 years old and an incomplete C4-5 tetraplegic, broke her neck in 2008 and subsequently received successful surgery and rehabilitation at the RNOH. Determined to walk again, Mary's personal mantra is "I can and I will".
A big thank you to The RNOH Charity for putting the monumental event together, all those who set up, manned the stalls and helped make the Buttercup Walk a great success.
