On the 31st May the Care Quality Commission (CQC) published the National Inpatient Survey, which sought the views of 77,850 patients from all NHS trusts across England. The RNOH has worked hard since the publication of the previous survey in 2016 to further improve the experience of our patients who travel from all over the UK to receive highly specialist care from our expert teams.
Understanding the views of our patients is important to us, and we are pleased to see that the RNOH is the best performing NHS trust in England for seeking feedback from patients about the quality of our services and their experience. The RNOH was the 4th best-improved trust in England this year which is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our multi-professional teams and their commitment to providing world class specialist treatment to our patients.
In four of the ten survey domains the Trust was amongst the best in the country, and when our patients were asked about their overall view of their care and the services we provide, they deemed that we were the best performing trust in England.
We are committed to continually improve the experience of our patients and their families, and over the coming weeks, we will be looking to further improvements that we can make in 2017.
