Each year the RNOH is required to complete Patient Led Assessment of the Care Environment (PLACE). We are looking for volunteers to help with this over two days: Wednesday 22nd and Wednesday 29th March 2017.
The assessments involve small groups of people visiting specific wards or departments to assess how they look from the patients’ point of view, e.g. décor, lighting, cleanliness, equipment, space, facilities, food and their impressions of the services they receive. The groups are escorted by a staff member and hospital staff as well as patients may be asked some questions. The group then completes a questionnaire to gather the impressions and views they have obtained.
It’s a fun, interesting day with lots of interaction and refreshments provided.
