Duke of York visits RNOH

HRH The Duke of York, Patron of the RNOH, visited us recently. HRH has been a dedicated supporter of the RNOH ever since his daughter, Princess Eugenie, underwent surgery on her spine to correct scoliosis (curvature of the spine) back in 2002. Since then, both the Duke and Princess Eugenie have lent their efforts in support of several campaigns to improve and update facilities at our hospital.

In October 2003, the Duke became Patron of the RNOH and Princess Eugenie has been equally active in her role as Patron of the RNOH Charity’s Redevelopment Appeal, raising funds to improve facilities and increasing awareness of the vital work the hospital carries out.

HRH heard about the latest redevelopment plans and was given a tour of our new Children and Young People’s outpatient department.
