Professor Goldstone’s appointment as Chair extended to 2018
We are delighted to announce that NHS Improvement recently approved the extension of Professor Anthony Goldstone’s appointment as Chair of the RNOH Trust Board until 31 January 2018.
Professor Goldstone, who has been in post at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust since February 2011 and who was awarded a CBE for services to medicine in June 2008 said “It is a privilege to be invited to continue to lead the RNOH as it further advances its Redevelopment into a new era. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff and the Board for their enormous efforts during my six years at RNOH.”
Mr Rob Hurd, Chief Executive Officer added “on behalf of the Executive Team at RNOH, I am delighted that Professor Goldstone will continue as Chairman of the RNOH – this stability and continuity is important at a very exciting time for the hospital. The wealth of clinical management and academic experience he brings to the Trust is extremely valued by all of us.”
