RNOH redevelopment on track
We're making good progress on the work to build the new inpatient ward bock on the RNOH Stanmore site. The old Patient Centre is being demolished and the ground being cleared for the next stage in the work, the preparations for concrete that will support the earth around the construction site as they dig into the slope leading up to the Outpatients Department.
The construction site was visited this morning by RNOH Chief Executive Rob Hurd, the Trust Chairman Prof Anthony Goldstone, Medical Director Mat Shaw, and Director of Children's Services Dr Zilla Huma. They were accompanied by members of the Redevelopment Team, Trudy Johnson, Redevelopment Programme Manager, and Richard Scott, Redevelopment Project Manager.
The century-old RNOH is undertaking a major redevelopment of its site in Stanmore, Middlesex. The RNOH Charity has an appeal to fund vital additional facilities and equipment for the new hospital.
