New patient buggy service - making A to B easy as 1, 2, 3!

patient buggy service at RNOH

Getting around the hospital grounds at RNOH Stanmore can be difficult, and we want to make things easier and much less stressful for our patients.

We are very pleased, therefore, to be able to announce plans for a new onsite patient buggy service. With thanks to funding from the RNOH Charity, Volunteer Services have purchased two electric buggies to be driven by volunteers to help patients get around the site more easily. The service is planned for a July launch, and will initially run from Monday to Friday.

You'll be able to check out the new patient buggies at the RNOH Charity Buttercup Walk at Stanmore on Sunday 26th June.

Volunteer drivers wanted!

Help us provide a smoother service and become a volunteer patient buggy driver. Training will be provided and travel expenses covered. For more information, please contact Volunteer Services by emailing volunteering@rnoh.nhs.uk or calling 020 8909 5394.
