RNOH launch the Compassion in Practice 6Cs

Marie Batey joined Trust staff to launch the 6Cs

We’ve just launched the Compassion in Practice ‘6Cs’ values here at the RNOH. Compassion in Practice is the three year vision and strategy for nursing, midwifery and care staff. Care, Compassion, Communication, Competence, Commitment and Courage are the principle values underpinning the strategy and are essential to the successful delivery of improved standards every day, for everyone.

Marie Batey, Head of Acute Care and Older People and Programme Lead for Compassion in Practice in NHS England, joined us today to help launch the roll out of the 6Cs throughout the Trust. During her visit this afternoon Marie heard about the great work we’re doing across the hospital to support the 6Cs – and cut our cake!
