RNOH to host second public exhibition to discuss proposed planning application
The RNOH is hosting its second public exhibition as the Trust prepares to submit a planning application to the London Borough of Harrow (LBH) in the summer of 2012.
The public exhibition will be held in the RNOH’s Sir Herbert Seddon Teaching Centre on Wednesday 18 July from 11:00 – 21:00.
The public exhibition follows an initial consultation in April 2012 and will provide an opportunity for the local community to view and discuss the evolving proposals and any relevant considerations.
The planning application, which will be in the form of a masterplan, aims to replace the outline planning application as it no longer secures the best outcome for the Trust.
Rob Hurd, chief executive, said: “Our proposals have progressed since we held our first public exhibition in April and I therefore encourage members of the community to attend to get a real feel of what our plans are for the site.
“We received a considerable amount of feedback following the first public exhibition and have tried, where possible, to take on board any comments and feed them into our proposals.”
The new planning permission seeks to permit the re-provision of exemplary healthcare facilities together with the transfer of surplus floor space to residential use in order to achieve the maximum potential land receipt.
A dedicated email address has been set up to take on board any feedback and respond to queries from patients and the public: RNOH@deloitte.co.uk
