RNOH prepares for London 2012 Paralympic Games
The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) is preparing for the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Hospital activity will carry on as normal, however, we are working on key operational planning ahead of the games to ensure the smooth running of treatment and care for our patients.
It is important that patients and visitors to the hospital are aware of the travel implications during the London 2012 Olympic period.
The Olympic route network will be operational from 29 August to 09 September 2012 for the Paralympic Games. During this period, trains, tubes, buses and roads will be much busier than usual and patients and visitors will need to allow additional time to get to the RNOH.
Your usual journey to the RNOH’s Stanmore or Bolsover Street sites is likely to be affected and you are therefore encouraged to check the London 2012 Olympic Games’ dedicated travel website for more information:
London 2012 Paralympic Games:
- Opening ceremony: 29 August 2012
- Closing ceremony: 9 September 2012
