RNOH public exhibition to discuss proposed planning application
The RNOH is hosting a two-day public exhibition as it prepares to submit a planning application to the London Borrow of Harrow (LBH) in the summer of 2012.
The public exhibition will be held in the RNOH’s Sir Herbert Seddon Teaching Centre on Friday 20 April from 14:00 – 19:00 and Saturday 21 April from 10:00 – 14:00.
The planning application, which will be in the form of a masterplan, aims to replace the outline planning application as it no longer secures the best outcome for the Trust.
Rob Hurd, chief executive, said plans are at an early stage and will include proposals for a new hospital development and residential development, including staff accommodation.
“We are keen to ensure that we consult widely with our key stakeholders and encourage as many people as possible to attend a public exhibition to find out more about the proposals,” he said.
The new planning permission seeks to permit the re-provision of exemplary healthcare facilities together with the transfer of surplus floor space to residential use in order to achieve the maximum potential land receipt.
