Call for applications to study nerve injuries of war
The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital’s Special Trustees invite applications for the study of nerve injuries of war. The project has been funded by the Grace Anderson Trust for one year in the first instance, up to a sum of £48,000 including all costs.
The application should be devoted to nerve injuries of war, in particular pain provoked and maintained by that injury, and include a training post for a Clinical Research Fellow who will help conduct the study. The post would enable the Fellow to gain experience in all aspects of invasive and non-invasive military nerve injuries. The proposal should aim to advance the detection and assessment of military nerve injuries, and their management.
For further information, please contact Mr Michael Fox on 020 8909 5803.
Closing date for applications is Thursday 25 November 2010.
