Improve the work experience for all staff at the RNOH
The RNOH’s ‘VAL-YOU’ campaign is our concerted effort to make the RNOH the best place to work in the NHS!
We have committed to this aim because we know that if we look after our staff and ensure they love coming to work every day, they will continue providing the excellent care to our patients for which we are known.
The RNOH’s ‘VAL-YOU’ campaign is built on our Trust values, which underpin everything we do. VAL-YOU was launched in late-2016 to ensure we are providing the care, support and development our staff need to deliver their best work every day.Over 300 of our staff attended VAL-YOU events, to talk to us about what is good and bad about working at RNOH. We used these conversation to create our VAL-YOU charter. All of staff at every level of the organisation are expected to abide by our charter and we are working to embed it in every aspect of the employment lifecycle at RNOH.

Employee of the Month Award
The winner of each ‘Employee of the Month’ Award will receive a gift voucher and will an invitation to attend the RNOH’s ‘Annual Staff Achievement Awards’ presentation ceremony in December. The award will be accompanied by a certificate the individual can display in their place of work and an RNOH ‘VAL-YOU’ badge.
Team of the Quarter Award
The winner of each ‘Team of the Quarter’ will receive a catering voucher, which may be redeemed to cover drinks and food for a morning or afternoon tea for the team. The value of the award will vary according to the size of the team and will be accompanied by a certificate the team can display in their place of work.
