Casting Course for Orthopaedic Surgeons
Aimed at Orthopaedic and Emergency Medicine Trainees (Core and Higher) and SAS grades, the purpose of this course is to consolidate knowledge and develop practical skills in casting using POP and lightweight materials.

The course is led by Beth Tite (Senior Orthopaedic Practitioner and Interim National Casting Training Advisor) and supported by her highly experienced casting team.

After an introductory lecture, the programme is very much hands-on, with workshops on upper limb and lower limb full casts and back slabs. Participants will work in small supervised groups to enable as much practice and personal feedback as possible.
