Equality and Diversity - seeking your views!

In 2012, all public bodies will set equalities objectives to enable improvements in patient care and staff experience. We are seeking your views so that we can prioritise areas for improvement and develop objectives that are relevant and will have a positive impact on our patients.

We aim to:

  • eliminate unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation
  • advance equality of opportunity between people who share a protected characteristic* and those who do not
  • foster good relations between people who share a protected characteristic* and those who do not

Seeking your views

We would like your views on how we can

  • achieve better outcomes for all
  • provide improved patient access and experience.

* Protected characteristics: age, disability, gender reassignment, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation, marriage and civil partnership.

Your views are important because they will help us to identify ways to reduce inequalities and improve patient experience.

The survey provides information about equality goals and outcomes – please let us know where we need to make improvements.

Questionnaires should be returned to Jackie Stephen, RNOH NHS Trust, Brockley Hill, Stanmore, Middlesex HA7 4LP or email diversity@rnoh.nhs.uk by 06 January 2012.
