The institute of orthopaedics library

The Institute of Orthopaedics Library became a multi-professional library in July 2003 as the result of a merger with the RNOH library. The combined collections of these two libraries specialise in Orthopaedic surgery, musculo-skeletal science, and Orthopaedic and spinal injury nursing, health care and management.

The library subscribes to over two hundred journals and offers access to major electronic databases and to hundreds of electronic journals. There is a staff of two full time and two part time librarians and the library runs training programmes in the electronic retrieval of professional information. For information about all these please go to our website at www.ucl.ac.uk

The Library is open from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. at present, but the opening hours will be extended when the two pre-merger libraries achieve a physical merger in summer 2004.
