Revised Car Parking Arrangements and Access Points into the RNOH Stanmore Site

As part of our response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, we are putting measures in place to protect patients, visitors and staff entering the RNOH Stanmore site.

Effective from Monday 1st June 2020:

Patient and visitors Car Park will continue to be opposite The Stanmore Building. The Outpatients Department Car Park will be a drop off point only for patients. (see map)

Effective from Tuesday 3rd June 2020

  • West Gate entrance - gates will be closed and there will be no entrance to the site through this gate.  
  • Aspire road barrier will be permanently lowered, access will only be to the ASPIRE car park 

Effective from Wednesday 3rd June 2020 - 7th June 2020

We will be establishing a vehicle and pedestrian check point as shown on the map below. All vehicles and pedestrians with the exception of ambulances (this includes staff, patients, visitors, delivery vehicles, contractors) will be stopped at the junction to Teaching Centre, this will be in operation 7 days a week.

One of the following proof of ID will need to be shown to enter the site:

  • Staff ID Badge
  • Staff car parking permit
  • Patient appointment letter
  • Patient appointment text

Delivery Vehicles and Contractors, Supplier’s representatives will require an authorisation letter/e-mail from the relevant department to enter the site. If no identification is shown, vehicles and pedestrians will be turned away by looping back and exiting through the main gate entrance.

Wood Lane entrance (as shown on map) will be closed from 8 June. Access will only be allowed for deliveries, MRI, Spinal and Outpatients.
