Self-funding patients
Many patients without insurance are opting to fund their own private treatment. An estimate of anticipated charges of pre admission assessment; accommodation and meals, nursing care, operating theatre fees, diagnostic tests, treatment and all drugs and dressings during your stay will be prepared for you by our admission and discharge co-ordinators on enquiry. However, it is very important to understand that this is an estimate only and because of the uncertainties of medical care and individual needs, costs may vary up or down from those anticipated.
All self-funding patients will be asked to pay the full anticipated cost of their treatment before admission. Payment may be made by credit or debit card.
Please note that as we are a national centre for excellence and many of our patients are referred for second opinions or with complex problems, we currently do not offer fixed price packages.
Insured patients
Please be aware that you are responsible for any costs not covered by your insurance policy. Your insurers will advise you of any limits or restrictions in your cover and whether the RNOH is in their chosen network of hospitals.
When contacting the Private Patient office, please ensure you have all the relevant details regarding your insurance, for example, your. policy or membership number.
