Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, NHS Trust

The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital aims to be the specialist orthopaedic hospital of choice by providing outstanding patient care, research and education.

Joint reconstruction: Foot, Ankle & Lower Limb

The Foot and Ankle Reconstruction Unit at the RNOH is led by recognised consultants with international reputation, each with specialised expertise in the management of a wide range of foot and ankle problems including sports injuries, arthritis and deformity.

Patients benefit from a multidisciplinary approach with rheumatologists, sports doctors, on-site orthotics, specialist nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

Our surgeons have also been instrumental in setting up the London Foot Group, consisting of consultant orthopaedic surgeons specialising in foot and ankle surgery. The group meet every two months to discuss interesting and difficult cases with a view to improving education and treatment in foot and ankle surgery.
